Travis HEAD scored his third pink ball 100 in Adelaide today of 111 Balls, an innings that included 3 sixes and 11 fours. Today’s hundred was special for so many reasons. He was playing Infront of his local crowd, came to bat when Australia was still trailed by decent run lead of more than 50 and most importantly his team needed him the most so that they have some lead to play with when INDIA comes to bat in second innings.

Travis Head did what he does the best. He showed positive mindset from the get go. Regardless of situation of the game he wants to score runs and feel leather on willow .He slashed hard outside off , flicked off his pads and even managed to attack Bumrah.

Head was bowled by Muhammad Siraj on a yorker length delivery on 140 off 141 balls. Head was disappointed as he probably did not expect a yorker. There was aggressive sent back from Siraj with Head responding and exchanging few words. As Head walked back to pavilion , crowd was on their feet clapping. Head who looked emotional , acknowledged the crowd by raising his arms , turned around and acknowledged fans wearing Aussie jerseys and fist pumped towards the end of his walk. It showed how much this 100 meant to him Infront of his home crowd and hopefully has done enough for  his team’s win.
